# JavaScript Plugins

A free and open-source (MIT) collection of lightweight JavaScript plugins and web
components, combining several common UI tools in a single package: calendar and
date picker, dropdown with autocomplete, input mask, colour picker, modal, context
menu, tabs, tags, rating, rich forms, HTML editor, toast notifications and ajax.

## Start here, by intent

| You want | Fetch |
|---|---|
| Every docs page in one index | [/llms.txt](https://jsuites.net/llms.txt) |
| Every docs page in one file | [/llms-full.txt](https://jsuites.net/llms-full.txt) |
| Install and the component list | [/docs/getting-started.md](https://jsuites.net/docs/getting-started.md) |
| One component, as markdown | append `.md` to its URL, e.g. [/docs/modal.md](https://jsuites.net/docs/modal.md) |
| A packaged skill for coding agents | [/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json](https://jsuites.net/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) |
| Everything this origin publishes for agents | [/.well-known/ai-catalog.json](https://jsuites.net/.well-known/ai-catalog.json) |

## Install

```html
<script src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/jsuites/dist/jsuites.min.js"></script>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/jsuites/dist/jsuites.min.css" type="text/css" />
```

```bash
npm install jsuites
```

Every component is a function on the `jSuites` global (or the ESM default export):
`jSuites.calendar(element, options)`, `jSuites.dropdown(element, options)`,
`jSuites.modal(element, options)`, and so on. Each returns an instance with methods
such as `open()`, `close()`, `getValue()` and `setValue()`. Web component tags
(`<jsuites-calendar>`, `<jsuites-color>`, `<jsuites-modal>`, ...) ship in
`jsuites.webcomponents.js`.

## Markdown for any page

Append `.md` to any URL, or send `Accept: text/markdown`:

    https://jsuites.net/docs/modal   ->  https://jsuites.net/docs/modal.md

Both return `text/markdown`. HTML stays the default for browsers.
